We love gathering together - but we believe church is more than a place you go. Church is a way of life.
Being the church isn’t just about attending a service; it’s about living out our faith every day - growing in Christ, loving others well, and building authentic community wherever life happens. Church isn’t confined to a building or a weekly event. It’s who we are as followers of Jesus.
Wherever we meet - in a sanctuary, around a table, in a home, or out in the world - we are the church: united by purpose, formed by grace, and sent to reflect the love of Christ in everyday life.

What Launching Faith Is
Launching Faith is a ministry that helps create simple, relational, honest, Spirit-led, and repeatable gatherings in the places where people already live.
These gatherings are not a gimmick or a new “program.” They’re an expression of the Church - centered on Jesus, built on hospitality, and sustained through relationships. We aim to create space for stories, questions, friendship, prayer, and the rediscovery of faith in everyday ways.
Think:

A conversation night at a bar
A front-porch gathering
A “dinner & discussion” night in a living room
A weekly or monthly meeting in a third-space community
What Launching Faith is NOT
The Network is not:
A replacement for local churches
A franchise or formula
A Sunday service alternative
A “one-size-fits-all” strategy
A brand built on performance or personalities
Instead, Launching Faith is a framework - a way of being the Church and adapting to people, places, and contexts while keeping Jesus at the center.
You don’t need a big team. You need a clear path and the courage to begin.
About Our Founder
Launching Faith is led by Jim Cedar, a former pastor who has spent years listening to the stories of people who love Jesus but feel disconnected from church, and leaders who feel worn down trying to hold everything together.
This ministry was born from that listening….and from a deep conviction: Faith was never meant to be confined to buildings. It’s meant to be lived where life unfolds.
